The "Trinity" wall art piece was inspired through a study of the mathematics behind light waves and the interference patterns they produce in nature. Similarly, if we remove a dimension, we can observe similar patterns as if on the surface of water when waves meet. High points from two different sources accumulate or cancel each other; the very dichotomy that can be observed in much of nature.
